Firstly, I didn't mention that after I had disabled fast start up in previous investigations and it didn't solve my problem, I then restored the Fast start-up as you are requesting now. This is not the cure. I have tried it a few times. The Power trouble shooter only picks up the fact that I have lengthened the time my display stays awake and that I do not allow the PC to go into sleep mode because I can't wake the PC out of it.
There were no other problems picked up by the trouble shooter. I therefore re-set these 2 settings to what they were previously. This is not the cure either.
